You can place the update in the dstt folder. I can't guarantee it'll work though.

DMA is Direct Memory Access, which could make games run faster. You can leave it on most of the times, expect for games which have problems with it.

hi sorry if youve answered this already if so just point me in the right directon so sorry in advance

i have an r4 card so the only way for some of the newer games to run is to upgrade to ysmenu so i went to the site and downloaded the zip file which i opened....

but what now what do i have to replace in my r4 card or do i need to rename stuff

as i say if youve already explained this sorry but im a little lost here

Just installed this thing, using your auto thingy. Works so far, but when i tried to play Monster Lab, and tried to patch it, i get an error Make indextab...disk errorcode=2147483632, and then it goes: System halt!

Also, how do i make skin work? i got no skin folder, so i can't really put my old r4 skins in anything. Do i just create one in the TTMenu folder?

That was the only game that does it, i know it's one of them games that needs Arm7 fix. But i got Age of Mythologies to work on YSmenu, without arm7, so i thought i could do the same with Monster Lab. Or did i get the error because it does need the arm7 fix?

It easier than you think. Extract R4YSauto to any folder, place the YSMenu zip file in the same folder and run r4.bat. That's all you need to do really - R4YSauto will ask everything it needs to know.

You should use the skin folder in the R4YSauto folder. Place your R4 skin in there, and run R4YSauto again to have it included in the generated zip file. Of course, you can also replace YSMenu1.bmp, YSMenu2.bmp and gbaframe.bmp in the TTmenu folder.

Really, you don't need a tutorial! Just read what I said above and it will work

Thanks, i did the second thing, i just took 2 of the 4 r4 images, and renamed them to Menu 1 and 2.

To bad i can't use all 4 like on the r4, but since the YSmenu starts right in the index site, instead of with 3 buttons, i didn't have much choice. =P


Alsom you know why i get the error on Monster Lab? is it because it needs the arm7 fix? Since i managed to get Age of Mythologies to work, and it needs the arm7 fix aswell normaly.

No, actually I don't know about how YSMenu runs roms, I just know how to get it working in an easy way

You run it in any folder, it will even work on your desktop. After running r4.bat there will be another file called r4_custom_English.zip. It will also be opened automatically. You can extract this file to your SD card.
