Hi guys, I have a BIG confusion with my Flash card...

2 years ago I bought a R4i flash card, the one that has "R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS www.R4iSDHC.com" written on it.

So I went to the site... and I downloaded the firmware that I needed.

Its seems to me that my flashcard is gettin older, cause on the website I see a lot of new products, and my card has aparently disapeared. (it went in a rectangular dark green box...)

The problem is that my firmware (1.19b) has been the latest since a year. On the webside I see some new cards with newer firmwares, but R4i ORIGINAL (it seems to be the one that I own) does not match with my flashcard box... but has the firmware that im running at the moment...

I don't know if I must upgrade my flashcard with another firmware from a newer card present on the website.... or it is just that my flashcard is about to die.

My main problem here is that with my firmware, wood 1.2, TTmenu & YSmenu, I CAN'T get my golden sun or pokemon white/black running on my ds... If I only try with wood, Golden Sun crashes on a black

screen, and Pokemon crashes when you select new game, and if I use TTmenu&YSmenu, I get: SAVFILE NOT FOUNDED! in every game that I try to run... (even those that run without wood.)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong... If its my firmware that must be upgraded, or if its me that I don't know how to use YSmenu...

I hope somebody can help me, please...

Thanks

Ok i'll try it, but the information of that wood talks about R4i GOLD only.

I'm gonna try it and I'll tell you.

Thanks for the information

EDIT: i've tried it, but wood 1.21 contains RPG folder and _DS_MENU.dat that overwrittes my _DS_MENU.dat from my firmware, so my flashcard crashes on loading.

I supose that it is because of what ive said before, wood 1.21 talks about R4i GOLD only at the info

I think that my problem is the YSmenu....

It seems that:

1º My firmware is the lastest of my version...

2º maybe my card is a ****

3º I can't run any game with YSmenu cause i get the SAVFILE NOT FOUNDED! error

SO: My problem may be that i'm not using well the YSmenu....

Failed. I've tested all the tutorials from your link and it doesn't work. I always get the r4didl.dat error when loading a game with YSmenu.

About wood 1.21... i've downloaded it from diferent sites, and all I get is a .rar file with _rpg folder and _DS_menu.dat

Where is the wood 1.21.nds???? I can't run it without that file.. I might be doing something wrong.

If you could help me, please

Try this method because i have same the card that you are using..

Try To Format your Memory Card using sdhc formatter then put the original firmware on your card..
Then Download This http://www.mediafire.com/?h4aa9kbidbvdnm8
Extract then copy this on the root on your card..
Run TTMenu.nds Then run Games..If that doesnt work
Run TTMenu.nds Then Run YSMenu.nds Then Run Games..

When you want to update your Ysmenu and play new games just download the new retrofan updates here http://gbatemp.net/t267243-retrogamefan-updates-releases Then extract Open TTMenu Then Copy The Following Files

extinfo.dat
infolib.dat
savlib.dat
ttpatch.dat

Then overwrite it on your TTmenu Folder..

Ok, i did all you told me and I get:

- I open TTmenu and it crashes while loading. The loading square keeps moving and it doesn't open.

- If I open YSmenu instead of TTmenu, I get r4didl.dat error in every game.

Suggestions?

The content of my card is:

PATCH (folder)
_system_ (folder)
Moonshl2 (folder)
moonmemo ( folder)
dshappybox.en (.rar that came with the firmware, I supose it's publicity)
R4_PANDORA.nds
_DS_MENU.DAT
r4dldi.dat
_DS_MSHL.nds
_DS_MENU.ini

and then I have:

TTmenu (folder)
ttmenu.nds
ysmenu.nds
ttmenu.sys
ttmenu.dat

and the games:

Golden sun
Pokemon Withe/Black
