Hacking r4ids.cn won't boot

I recently bought a r4i gold 3ds rts (http://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=476) and it has the DORASU icon. When I launch it it just says "www.r4ids.cn Starting" forever. I have formatted my micro-sd card with FAT32 and put the kernel files (http://kernel.r4ids.cn/Wood_R4iGold_V1.58.rar) in the root. Is my card dead?

I have tried this on a DSi XL with the latest update and a DS Phat.

well the "Starting" means the card itself is working
but it cant find the Micro SD card files

so either the Micro SD isnt right or the files arnt right
the starting has also been an issue with some Wood files because they wernt compiled right

try extracting the Wood files i uploaded here

Same thing. I am using a kingston micro-sd card that I bought from http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00200K1TS/.

Kingston is a reseller and sometimes can sell low-quality ones, see if you can find another MicroSD to test.

Try format size adjustment on, and full format on. It'll take a while, but it'll clean up the MicroSD for proper use.

Tried full-erase and full-overwrite with no success sadly.

Are you guys sure its not a problem with the card? I tried another MicroSD and it still doesn't work. How is nds-card.com with exchanges?

like they said. if the cart says its starting its an issue with either the sdcard, OR the kernel isnt properly installed.

Couldn't the MicroSD slot in the card just not work? I tried 2 brand new sd cards (8gb kingston and 16gb sandisk) and I am pretty sure I installed it correctly. I just put the files in the root as you can see in the picture I posted. Version 1.58. I have formatted using every setting and have used the download from r4ids.cn and filetrip posted by pong.

Well damn, it does sound you got a faulty one. E-mail the shop ans ask if they'll do a replacement.
