I'mn planning on getting a dsi and getting a r4i. i checked a couple sites on where to get one. where could i get a real one. people say dealsxtreme but i orederd something from there before never came.

AS others have said, there is no such thing as a real R4i, R4 has been dead for awhile now, even on the DS.
I don't see why people keep on buying it considering how outdated it is and the fact that it has NO official support.
Go for a EZ Flash Vi, DSTTi, or Acekard 2i.
I am in the process of getting my Acekard 2i (Backorder, may see it before May)
Check Real Hot Stuff for the cards.

Do yourself a favor and avoid all the r4 crap.
I also heard that the m3 team should release a new cart call itouch dsi or something like that pretty soon.
If you are planning to play your roms in another language than english than avoid the acekard cuz it just wont work.
If so than get the ez flash vi.

No. It can play any language ROMs. You just have to set the Acekard to english, not the games.
