Hacking R4i (www.r4ids.com)

Hey guys, need a bit of help getting the mentioned flashcart working.
I tried a couple of firmwares on it already but none of them seem to work properly.. Apparently it's an ak2i clone, so I tried the latest AKAIO - gets stuck on loading screen. I also tried the regular wood firmware but also with no luck.
The closest one to working was the wood firmware for the r4i gold from this site: www.r4ids.cn (notice that r4ids.com is the website listed on my flashcart, not r4ids.cn). It loads up the menu, but when I run a game, it just freezes at the loading screen. I tried multiple games, so I know they're not the problem.
If you know any firmware that might work on this card, please help. Thanks!
