R4i won't load multimedia anymore

I wanted to play with my dsi xl a bit so i took it out and tried to open my r4i flashcart. The screen was black so i formatted the sd card and downloaded all the files again (i know they were the right ones). It was working perfectly well, both the games and the multimedia, but after a few hours the multimedia option won't load anymore. Usually the top screen is a light blue but now it's just black and the bottom screen is just the loading bar. Has anyone dealt with this before? Do i need to reformat the sd card again?

Your MicroSD card may be going bad.

Yup, as to what Jdbye had stated, your SD card is likely corrupted (possible fake or damaged). Try running the card through h2testw and it'll tell you what sectors are corrupted. Then do a fresh format using the SD formatter tool; rather than the default format menu in Windows.
