Hacking R4i SDHC 3DS Not displaying upgrade option.

Okay so basically I have a old R4i sdhc 3ds card 1.68b. (I think. I upgraded it once using my dslite.)
I deleted everything off of the micro sd card and copied the new version kernel 1.78b. From R4i-sdhc.com.
When I click the upgrade option it only displays this:

Support Model:NDSL, NDSI 1.44, 3DS 4.2 (no upgrade option. My 3ds is on 4.4 fw)

I tried reformatting my sd card. Copying and re pasting and it still doesn't show up.
I seriously need help. Been trying to figure out whats the deal.

I heard its something to do with the flash.r4i file in r4imenu from a thread here 2yrs ago but the file link with the fix expired.

there is no fix
Support Model:NDSL, NDSI 1.44, 3DS 4.2

means the most your card can support is 3DS FW 4.2.0

your model is obsolete

Ahh. I was afraid of that. Thanks for the fast reply! Might as well buy an new 3DS flashcard.
