hi :P I'm new here, and tired, so I'm sorry if I've messed something up! I recently bought a copy of My Secret World for the DS from a second hand store. It's a diary game aimed at tween girls, I enjoyed the idea of using this random game as my actual journal so I bought it. When I opened it on my 3DS, there was an existing save file (last opened 26 December 2013), but I couldn't access it because I didn't know the 4 digit PIN or the security question. I tried a bunch of super common PINs (like 0000, 1234, 9876 etc) but no luck. I erased the file (my new diary is going strong, it's actually a fun little game), but before I did I saved a backup with Checkpoint of the original save. I'm curious if there's a way of getting around that lock, without just straight up brute forcing? Is there anything I could use to look into this more? Honestly I'm most interested in the process (if it can be done) than the actual diary.

Hello, I like handhelds and Pokemon so I am of course looking for a Nintendo console I can buy. Naturally I had gotten the latest console back in 2018 but my experience was less than stellar because of a plethora of reasons(stick drift, patched console, bad pokemon games!!). Lately though I've kind of fallen in love with the 3DS, It just looks so cool and innovative and had a great game library too not even mentioning the modding community. It being an extremely old console I'd expected for it to be cheap but Its like 300 bucks. I can kinda see why, its a great console and I guess something happened for it to be relevant again. But I want to get this console nevertheless so I wanted a bit of advice on what to do. Should I buy it now since the prices will continue to rise or is this just a trend and shoul I wait for the prices to lower again? Many thanks.

Not sure what other places have it besides www.R4I-SDHC.COM but i am using the one that is from this website.

I already followed the steps in downloading the drivers, firmware uplader, and save dongle back up and restore.

I downloaded the newest firmware for it which seems to be 1.3

I ran the firmware uploader file press the ''upgrade'' button in the usb dongle and ran the bin 1.3 file and it now says its upgraded.

The drivers i already had so i didn't bother with them. When i run the ''r4i save dongle v 1.5'' file it loads the program and supposedly detects my card but the section on top where it says '' Pc> card'' And '' Card> Pc'' is greyed out which is supposed to be green so i can select and upload my retail game cart saves to my pc.

For users here who have this save dongle anyone come across this problem? I tried 3 different retail games and the software still doesn't light up green so i can't back up the saves or even access them.
