Hello all, I having a different problem than a lot of the issues posted here and I was just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem and/or a solution.
Basically, the problem is after the card boots to the main menu and I try to load a rom, I get a message saying "processing do not turn off" and the micro sd symbol in the top right corner blinks forever but nothing ever happens and I can no longer navigate the menu. This also happens when I try to save settings in the menu.
The site printed on my card is the official www.r4ids.cn and I've only downloaded firmware and patches from that site. I am currently running the Wood 1.60 Kernel and I successfully performed the latest upgrade using the NDS Lite method and cutting the line between C1 and R9 after the update.
I'm starting to think it's a faulty card because I've used a number of micro sdhc cards and regular micro sd cards formatted with the panasonic sd formatter program and it always gives me the same issue. I've also tried older firmware like 1.54 and 1.56. I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Unfortunately, I don't think the site I bought it from will accept a return since I had to physically cut the line to upgrade it.
