I discovered something about language.dat— It's editable!
I had discovered, as I was using HxD, searching for anything human-readable in the kernel files of the R4i(-)SDHC, that language.dat could be edited, mostly, with any hex editor (including HxD).

This is the file in HxD.

What is your end goal in editing this file what do u get out of editing this file?
To hopefully fix the grammar mistakes throughout. Editing language.dat essentially changes what text is shown in the menus for each language.
