Hacking r4i gold help

I have r4i gold from r4ids.com the current version I am using is 1.32 I guess AP is kicking in
are there any other firmware that I can use such as Wood R4 or YSMENU???

Wood? not a chance. YSMenu? maybe, depends on what it's a clone of.

It's annoying as it's a lot better with the spring, but the spring sometimes breaks.

micro sd is stuck in there I cannot get it out it is down almost all the way

Can't you pull it out as if it were in a non spring loaded slot?

Otherwise i'd be opening up that Acekard to get that MicroSD card back. Opening it backs the pegs, but as long as you have a little bit of glue you can put it back together. If it still doesn't work, then send it back to the retailer for a replacement.

its gone down I cannot even grab it so I guess I will have to split my acekard 2i apart

If you view my Acekard guide, somewhere in there's a photo of the inside of the shell. To the side there's a gap in the edge, insert you nail or knife there and just run it round the sides.

If not, try at the bottom where there should be a flappy bit below the contacts.
