Hacking R4i Gold fail

Hello! I was hoping i could get some help! Some friends of mine both have the R4i gold, but they accidentally updated their Dsi to v1.4.1 and thus, it no longer works.
Is there any way to fix this? Note, that the card will no longer start up. My own Dsi is version 1.4.1 too.

Weird - the R4i Gold (especially the 1.4.1 version you've linked to) should work on the DSi regardless..

I myself have a R4i gold & that works on my DSi with 1.4.1E (BTW I've also used WoodR4 V1.25 from their website)

When you say - 'it no longer works', what exactly is not happening ??
Is it seeing the R4 on the DSi (i.e stormbreaker icon) or not ??

If not - is the Memory card properly inserted ?? - if that isn't then you won't get the icon

The site has more than one kind of firmware? I suppose i should try that then.

Oh, and when the card is inserted i get "Star Wars Lethal Alliance".
But it still gives me an error message.

Nope, link is not allowed. The same link was posted in the news section but it contained ROM downloads so it had to be removed.

edit: it seems it is a different website, although it looks the same. they link to ROMs hosted on a third party 'sponsored' site.

Hmm - Let's go through each one

??? The actual Flashcard tell you to visit a site that's NOT www.r4ids.cn (which I believe is the genuine R4i gold website) ???

On the DSi ??? - I'm sure that's not right.. if it's compatible with the DSi's 1.4.1 it SHOULD show 'Alex Ryder Stormbreaker' IIRC

I think the 'Star Wars Lethal Alliance' was for the 1.4 version only and IIRC these CAN'T be updated to work on 1.4.1

In all cases it actually sounds like you don't have a genuine R4iGold. According to this site - there seems to be at least 4 different 'R4i Gold' cards & you may have one of the 'clones'
