Hacking r4i gold and 6.3 issue

hi I got my r4i gold rts about 2 months ago and I had to do the cutting the wire stuff to make it work back then.
I then updated my 3ds which was about a week ago and now my r4igold rts doesn't work. I did try to put the 1.62 wood firmware (I might not have got the correct version for my card...) in but it still doesn't work.

my 3ds says it is 6.3.0-12E

please help!

most likely because you have not applied the new 6.2.0 patch to it
only the 6.1.0 which was when you had to cut the line

you need to apply the 6.2.0 patch on a console the card will boot on
e.g. DS Phat or DS Lite or a DSI 1.4.5 or under or a 3DS 6.1.0 or under
