Hacking R4I Gold 3DS From R4IDS.CN Holiday Patch Problem

Have a R4i Gold 3DS flashcart from R4ids.cn, its the holiday version. It recognizes the card as dorasu and when selected it stays stuck on a loading screen. Now there was a patch released for this problem, and i have applied the patch using a ds lite as suggested on the site! It does the update and says it was a success, but it is still stuck on loading screen! Any one have any ideas what else i might be able to do??

Wait, how did you apply the update if the cart won't run? Did you do the cart swapping trick?

Yes ds lite and another working cart

You need to place the proper kernel/system files on the microsd.

Yeah i have the proper files on the sd card.
I have 2 of the same carts, both micro sd cards have the same exact files on them, 1 works, other stays stuck on loading!

try to flash your r4i gold 3ds again.

How exactly do you reflash it?

Well, never figured it out...sending it back!
