Hacking R4i Gold 3ds Deluxe help please!

I have this R4i http://www.realhotstuff.com/R4i-Gold-3DS-Deluxe_p_223.html I was trying to play Golden Sun Dark Dawn and Dragon Quest 9 but neither of them work. Any help would be great.

I'm using V1.64 the latest firmware

Do you use the not-starter card?

Tried that but it doesnt work. I tried it for bot DQ9 and Golden Sun but neither works. All my other games work fine.

Please make sure that these two roms are clean ones.
You'd better try downloading them from other sites.

well I managed to find a clean rom of DQ9 but all I get is a white screen and as for Golden Sun...still black screen. I don't now what else to do..

How about the size of this game?
If it is bigger than 256M bytes, you need to format your tf card with the cluster size bigger than 16KB.
You'd better format it with the cluster size being 64KB.

I just checked. they're both 256.00 MB
