Hacking R4i clone, please help :(

Well, hello everyone this my first post here unfortunately I come with some tehnical difficulties right away.
Today I bought a r4i flash card for my 3ds ( I also have ds lite), in my country it is basically impossible to find these cards by luck I found out about a man who sold them so I was pretty happy about it.
Now to the problem, on the box it writes R4i 3DS then bellow that R4i-SDHC 3ds for ( N3DS/NDSi xl/ NDSi/ NDSL/ NDS) and bellow that web page "www.r4i-sdhc.hk". Also on the box there was a sticker "unlimited upgradable".
I researched a bit and found out that it is probably a clone, so I now need help since I have no idea where can I find software for it since links on that site dont work and I am now not even sure if it will work on my 3ds, I tried some softwares on 3ds and ds lite, on 3ds the standard turn off and consult manual shows up but on ds lite that sad smile shows up and bellow it menu written.
I hope someone can help me with this, sorry if I overwritten a bit I just didnt want to miss anything.

You card has not been supported since late 2011.
it should work on your dslite

If it hasn't been updated since 2011, it's not going to work on a 3DS that's been updated in the past two years or so, and never will.

Order a decent/supported cart online like everybody else.

Ah I see, well could you at least help me to set it up to work on my ds lite?

Try downloading the kernel that matches your cart's model from the site.

Well that is a problem since all links for download on that site dont work
