Hello,
I have a R4i 3DS flash card which previously showed a Konami icon with some asian text on the homescreen: http://www.spitzekarte.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/R4i-Gold-3DS-Icon.jpg

Today I noticed it now shows a blank cart icon (spinning DS cart with plain white label) and no text description on the homescreen of my A9LH'd o3DS.

It still shows the Konami icon on my DS Lite and also an A9LH'd 2DS. And the cart functions as normal when opened. So I believe the cart itself is fine.

The problem seems to reside with my o3DS - somehow it has 'forgotten' the icon and text description?

I am not particularly concerned - as I say, it still functions as normal so no harm done. But I am wondering what could have caused this and if it is a sign of system corruption or something of that nature?

Thanks

Not sure what it is... but try redownloading firmware?

I'd much rather have that than a random icon though... maybe someone can make an icon flasher for flashcarts via 3DS? If that's even possible?

I tried that already, and also a different MicroSD card. The fact that it shows the Konami icon as normal in other systems suggests to me that the card itself is fine.

Yes, the blank white cart is probably nicer than some Asian gibberish...but I am just wondering if it is a sign of system corruption.

In FBI > Titles it detects the ID and icon of the cart as normal.

Could WoodR4launcher have caused it?

I installed it to get an original R4 working (not this flash card) and then subsequently uninstalled it. I wonder could that have deleted the icon ?
