Hacking R4i 3DS help

Hi

I've had an R4i 3DS for awhile now and been playing games, I lent my 3ds to my mum to play and when i got it back the firmware has been updated to 4.4.0-10E and my R4i doesnt work, so i updated it to the latest releases from www.r4i3ds.cn and Wood on a friends DSi. but it still doesn't work?

Am i missing an update or something? or ive heard my card might be permablocked?

any help would be greatfully appreciated

Wood isnt a Firmware update

its a Kernel

Kernel only affects game compatibility

you need to apply a Firmware update

look on the back of you card,
right hand side pin, at the top
what is the number or letter you can see

you cart will never work

revisions 8 could no longer be updated after the 4.3.0 3DS update

you will need a new card
