Hacking R4 white screen on loading games

Try to "reinstall" the firmware.
Also, delete the save files that are created when a game doesn't work...just in case.

Is reinstalling the firmware just re dumping the ds menu file? All saves are deleted, still doesn't work.

Yep. Which you must have done before when you formatted it. Have you tried turning off soft reset?

I had the same problem but I fixed it in a hurry. Everytime I started the game I ignored the "Save Game" prompt everytime I played a new ROM because I didn't have enough room for the .sav files. (yes I filled it

) I erased some ROMs and restarted my R4. When I did load a ROM I chose to create a .sav file and it worked nicely.

Please post what the root directory of your memory card looks like. Maybe there's something wrong.

Well anyway, having cheats on does the white screens for me, but you already said they were off.

the only reson(imo) you will be getting a white screen is if your rom is pathed for a different cart(ex. supercard)

get a clean rom dump and try again

You do have the games as the NDS files and not ZIP files, right?

If he had em in a zip file he will just get and error and not a white screen of death.

If music works fine, then maybe it's your firmware that's broken? Check to see that your firmware language matches the r4's native language.
