*I bought my R4 off of Gameyeaaah and recieved it a week later. Very pleased!!

4. How do you have your folders organized?

*Games and Media, I don't intend to use it for much music or movies, just games mainly

5. Do you use your R4 mainly for games or Media/Homebrew?

1. How long have you had your R4 and how many do you own? Where did you buy it off of?
Almost exactly a month, now. I only have one. Amazon.com, because I had a gift card to burn.

2. What kind of memory card do you use?
A 2GB Sandisk with no other identifying marks, that came with a full-size SD adapter.

3. Have there been any problems with your unit?
Yes. Be extra careful when loading your card if you run Linux on your desktop -- the R4DS firmware is very picky about case when looking for files. I haven't had any hardware-related problems though.

4. How do you have your folders organized?
games/ - DS games
gbagames/ - GBA games wrapped in NDStation
music/ - MP3s for Moonshell
misc/ - Opera browser, and a tool for my 3in1

5. Do you use your R4 mainly for games or Media/Homebrew?
About half and half. My DS functions as my handheld platform for just about everything.

6. Do you have any accessories for your DSL?
I have a fat DS actually. I bought a GBA size EZFlash 3in1 for it.

7. How did you find out about flash carts?
My history with backup solutions goes way back, to when Swap Magic 3.6 for PS2 first came out. Naturally, when I got my DS, my immediate reaction was to research backup solutions for it. It also helped that I had a friend who was a happy R4DS owner long before I ever owned a DS at all.

8. Favorite games of the moment?
Ouendan series (EBA), Animal Crossing, Mr. Driller.

1. A month ago. One R4. Bought off Gameyeeeah.

2. Several. My most commonly used is KINGMAX 2GB, Kingston 512MB for Castlevania: PoR.

3. Only once for no reason during the loading of Phoenix Wright, before the New Game/Continue screen it froze. Soft reset wasn't working either. The carts were in normal position. Restarted and everything went fine.

4. System files hidden. Tools like DSOrganize, 3in1Tool and such in root folder, roms in NDS folder, Downloads folder for DSorganize's web browser, Music for... well music. XD All in all quite organized, no stuff lying around.

5. Not yet since picture support is rather crappy, plus I have tons to still play before I get bored.

6. Microphone headphones and an EZ 3in1.

7. Knew about 'em for a while off the net... 3 more years passed until a friend bought a NDSL and ordered an M3. That's when I bought mine and ordered the cart. Am new to online shopping.

8. Castlevania: DoS(LOL, denial of service), Super Mario 64 DS, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Pokemon D/P, Mario Kart DS.

4. One NDS Games folder, a Homebrew folder, and a Media folder with some more folders.

5. Games.

6. Armorlite case, Hori screen protectors and some other junk.

1. How long have you had your R4 and how many do you own? Where did you buy it off of?
I've had my R4 for 6 months, 7 on Feb. 17th. Bought it off Dealxtreme, awesome store.
wink.gif

2. What kind of memory card do you use?
1 GB Kingston

3. Have there been any problems with your unit?
Nope, nothing to report.

4. How do you have your folders organized?
Games, Browser, Homebrew, Music, and others that are specific to certain homebrew (such as Lameboy), which are on the root of the R4.

5. Do you use your R4 mainly for games or Media/Homebrew?
Mainly for games, although I do have a fair share of homebrew and I've watched a few movies, which was a good experience.

6. Do you have any accessories for your DSL?
Yes, I have a protective silicon case that goes around my DS, great product. Bought it in a local Game store. Also Hori screen protectors and EZ Flash 3 in 1, from Dealxtreme.

7. How did you find out about flash carts?
I searched around in December 2006 for a cart online and I saw some videos advertising the DS-X. I bought it and I couldn't be happier until the support and updates started going downhill. Then I gave my DS-X to my sister (still works perfectly, with the necessary patches, obviously), and I purchased an R4, which I love.

8. Favorite games of the moment?
Pokemon Diamond, FIFA 2008, Advance Wars Days of Ruin, Mario Kart, and some others that I can't remember right now.

1. 1 R4, got it from the very moment I got my DS. Got it 1 month ago.

2. Kingston 1 gb memory card

3. Sometimes unable to detect it, but works fine by reinserting the R4. It works even when its -20 degrees outside.

4. NDS roms, GBA games and the rest are cluttered on the main

5. Mostly games. Tried at one time to watch animes on them but subtitles were too small. Sound quality is mediocre compared to the PSP, but decent enough. Surf the web using Opera but that too is slow.

6. Hori Screen Protectors, BlackHorn clear plastic casing, Ez 3 in 1

7. Knew it right from the start. Almost anything and everything is pirated in my country. Have a hacked PS 1 and 2.

8. Advance War: Days of Ruin, Elite Beat Agent, Taiko No Tatsujin DS, Picross, Puyo Puyo Fever. Yes, I have a short attention span, playing all of those frequently.
