Thanks for the answer, but I do not understand your question, i searched on the internet and I found a DLDI test and I ran it. I receive a positive feedback (I made the test with my NDSL, pic https://goo.gl/photos/My5ZPygst8jg7BTg6 ). I don't know is this sufficient, sorry.

I have an Original R4 (2GB of micro sd limit) with Wood R4 firmware. Its works fine in my NDSL and when I boot my Sysnand with patches.
My 3DS XL have Rxtools 3.0, in my sysnand 9.2 with FBI 1.4.17 and my emunand 10.7 with FBI 1.4.17 and 2.0.5 , bigbluemenu.

It doesn´t work for me.
Tried the original R4 and installed the launcher and even the TWL to both NAND´s but still error message.
Such a pity. Thought I could use my old R4 for DS games.

I tested the M3 ds real. I'm 100% sure that I have a patched twl_firm because I'm using the latest rxtools.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

on Luma O3DS, EmuNAND 11 (up to date) and it only loads up with the R4 Revolution for DS launcher, but even when it does, it hangs on the black Loading screen.

Is that anything to do with these launchers or is it an independent R4 Firmware issue I need to puzzle out separately?

use DSTT launcher it will work on that r4 (i know cause i have the same card and because this r4 is a DSTT Clone)

You have to use Luma3DS instead of rxTools. I also used rxTools a long time and I tought it patched twl_firm, but it doesn't. Just install Luma3DS instead and you will be fine.
This thread should be edited so user like you or me don't get confused.

There is no CIA for the Acekard 2i yet.

Acekard 2i runs fine without doing anything on Luma.

Based on the lack of info, I assumed this was the case but hoped for the best.

What? I put the card in and nothing happens. The cartridge icon stays white. Note this isn't a "3ds compatible", all it says is Acekard 2i, DSi compatible.
