Right now I use Rudolph's. It works great and does exactly what I need. I've been advised by the author of NDStation *not* to use it until 1.2 comes out (august 20th or so) where some major bugs will be fixed. At that point I'll back up my SRAM and all my saves, and test it out.what patcher do you recommend, EZ4-Client or GBATA? (sp?)
GBATA all the way. As stated in the wiki article I wrote, it has been known to cause lost saves. I read more into this in an old thread here (don't remember where it was) and it was confirmed through a long series of tests. I am yet to have any problems w/ GBATA, and it only patches if its needed.
what loader do you recommend, NDStation or Rudolph's 3in1 ExpPack?
i don't have a lot of GBA game that i am dying to play, still worth it?
Thats a question I can't answer for youI bought the 3 in 1 with 2 games in mind (Zelda: LthP and Minish Cap) but am quickly finding more and more games that are just a blast to play (some of the final fantasy series, metal slug advance, older pokemon games, etc). Take a look at a GBA rom list and see if theres anything in it that looks fun.![]()
and is there any homebrew which is good but needs ram (from a slot-2 device)?
