Hello all

Are you like me who loves his/her R4 and Simply so much but the lack of SDHC get s to you and your wondering if the M3 team can introduce the R4 or M3 Simply with SDHC support he or she would jump the gun and snag it right away.

Well if your one of those people please post in and let your words be heard.

I absolutely love my R4 and Simply that all I want is one with SDHC supprt. If they ever come out with one I'd be a few actually.

Anyways please post in

Jimmy

Although nothing has been said, I beleive the R4 team is behind the DSTT.
There are various things which indicate so, such as the fact that it uses R4 cheat .dat files.

Really that is a huge surprise to hear!

I've ordered my DTT a while ago and I'm waiting for it as we speak.
I'm going to compare it with other flashcards test performance etc.. between the DTT and the R4.

I hope it is true though.

Due to the release of the M3 Real, the Simply won't get SDHC support. And the R4 team are planning the release of a new one this year with SDHC support, so I doubt your current M3/R4 will ever support SDHC.

From a logical point of view, the SDHC support would have to be in the form of a firmware update...but you would still need for the card to load before the firmware works, so there's no way a SDHC compatible update can ever be made.

Agreed there too. The R4 team is busy with their own new devices at the moment.

If R4 & M3 are the same team (as all of us think)
Why would they have to made new SDHC R4?

As they are same team, M3Real is next step over M3simply/R4

Well they're not exactly the same. There is a M3 team and an R4 team, they each use similar (and superior to other carts) technology, but they're still competing against one another. Healthy competition keeps M3/R4 lovers happy.

Besides, there's an ongoing M3 vs R4 battle, so if only the M3 Real was released and no new R4, wouldn't that just destroy any rivalry?

r4 is a standalone team which sells its cart to m3 team because they were late to the slot1 competition, now that they(m3/g6 team) have their own product they are trying to sell it over r4/m3 simply because they don't have to pay anything to r4 team.

I don't think that m3 is superior to other competitors, at least they are not superior to cyclods nor supercard

I call them all equal. They all allow us to play games for free

I wish R4 team`weren't so quiet and would actually inform its customers about what is going on. This is why team Cyclops are so much better.

I think it's a Nintendo thing!

There is next to no information from the people behind the R4.
Also the WiiKey team isn't famous for its information

Umm, does common sense count? From a logical point of view, M3 released the Real and R4 have no answer to it. Anyone can see that they're (quietly) working on something similar, even if they never want to share. Wait a couple of months

M3 Real is just a G6 Real with MicroSD.
M3 Simply was a rebranded R4, 'cause G6/M3 weren't ready with a Slot-1 Adapter yet.
I think:
- R4 Team is somehow behind DSTT.
- M3 Simply and R4 are dead.

how are the R4 and M3 simply dead? As long as firmware updates are concerned they are still alive and kicking.

I still use my R4 over all the rest of my flashcards and I won an M3 Real, CycloDS Evo and DTT

I agree, I still think the R4 is a great card, and I also have the M3 Real, Cyclo DS, and DSTT. I think the acekard looks the best made card lately, and the new version of the cyclo DS seems a lot more robust.
