Well first off,my current firmware is 1.18,the cheat option doesnt appear and when i use the wood menu none of the roms load,wat am i doing wrong and how can i fix this?

What website do you download the software from.
It is commonly found on the flashcart itself, underneath the R4 logo.

well my card doesnt say any website but i got the newest software at r4dsme or http://www.r4ds.me/download/r4ds.html

That's not an R4 SDHC.
It's the original R4.
