Gaming r4 pokemon platinum prob

Hello all. I'm new to this r4 gaming thing and therefore I am new to this website.

Anyways, I managed to get all of my cheats and games working except pokemon platinum. I don't even know why because I read in other threads that I should move the cheat file on r4cce all the way to the top and I did that but it still won't show up. The weird thing is, the world ends with you game cheats work fine and taht starts with a W.

I have no idea why this isn't working or how to fix it.

Help a noob!!! and plz dont flame if there was a thread like this and there was a solution. Please just direct me there without the flames. that would be nice.

the ysmenu firmware thing

anyways, when i try to boot it up it gets stuck at LOADING

ok thats weird there is one thing you can try remove all of your other cheats exept pokemon mayby that will work

well i tried that and what happened was when i selected pokemon and pressed Y for cheats nothing even popped out

no message no nothing like nothing came out and im pretty sure it froze. it doesnt tell me theres no cheat file it just doesnt open it

ok follow this steps:"Click on the picture to maximize them"

put ur micro sd into ur card reader
open your r4cce
load on r4cce with the cheat file u have in ur micro sd from the database
select pokemon platinum
and look over to the right side of r4cce you will see the "..."button.

click it and a pop up will appear and select pokemon platinum in ur micro sd folder

save over ur existing cheat file in ur micro sd.
done !

ya even when the game id matches it doesnt show anything. like it still doesnt say cheat file not found it doesnt open anything

and elixer use the firmware for r4i?

i said that based on the assumption you have a DSL capable original r4 not any clone like r4 sdhc, r4 iii and etc

so if you are having an original r4 just use the firmware for r4
