Hacking R4 or wait for CycloEvo

Ok I wasn't sure if it meant simply that or it had something to do with measuring the rom sizes...I remember when I used to flash my GBA games onto my 64 MB cart the roms would be like 1MB in size and uncompressed they would end up being 16 MB or 32 MB or whatever. I never understood that. I thought the 8Gb had something to do with that...forget it just pretend I didn't ask

I have much to learn! Wish this stupid Cyclods would come out soon so we could see some reviews and I could finally make a decision on which cart to buy. Hopefully they're not brand-dependent on the memory cards because I can get the cards from work for a good price, but we don't sell Japanese-made Kingston ones.

You can't go wrong with a R4, cuz it is almost the price of a high retail DS game.
I heard they increased the price of the R4 though, I bought mine for $31 US Dollars, now it's like $38 on Deal Xtreme?
Also, if you don't have someone to play against and are only worried about single player, the R4 has never failed on me

and the .sav's are pretty easy for people to understand (drag and drop with the exact file name)

Correct me if I'm wrong: at best, the advantage of CycloDS over R4 will be perfect download play. Is it worth a $20+ price difference? Not to me. And I can't see how it could be to anyone, but this doesn't matter. Of course I'll be happy to change my mind if Cyclo reveals to be something revolutionary, even though I can't imagine how.

the g6real was supposed to have perfect download play but it doesn't and its more expensive than M3 and R4.

I dont see the point of people worrying about download play. If you have a flashcarts odds are your friends have them as well

I already have an R4, and it's not perfect in many areas, I'm sure many people agree. But still, excellent for it's price.

just because the CycloEvo is the same as the R4.
the only thing that's new in it is the option to do download play (and even that not 100% support)

Why buy Cyclo, when there is already the R4 and N-Card clones?
Both cards have 100% clean rom compatibility, and isn't that what everyone should look at mainly?
When looking at reviews and seeing download play compatibility, I just scroll down because it is useless to me. Nobody I know has a flashcart or DS for that matter >_>

Think about it, why are new carts being released? They add extra features, helpful features at that, that no other cart has.
