Hacking R4 on the way out...

I have had my R4 for a year and a half now (I have no idea if its a clone or not) and it has worked fine. Now when I start the DS sometimes it freezes on the start menu with nintendo sign and text under and sometimes it goes to the menu on the ds saying no game inserted. However, if i take my r4 out, put it - and repeat this process, after a bit it works again.
This is annoying, any one else had this problem, is my r4 gonna die soon?

its probably a contact issue
try taping your card to make it thincker so that it touches the contacts of the ds

Isn't your DS just filled with dust?

i will try both by checking if the ds has dust in it and trying to remove it and if it still plays up i will try what anasx said.

i had this. so i just opened up the r4 and put a piece of paper in to improve the contact.
