How do you change just the icons? I like some of the skins that came with the R4 v1.10 but I don't like the icons on them. I don't have any fancy photo programs. I went to deviantart and saw some icons that would go with the skin backgrounds, but I don't know how to change the icons.

It's not possible just to change the icons, as they are built into the skin. You would have to edit the skin and manually change it. Much easier to download prefab skins.
