I have got a R4 and i got this error : SD/TF Card error.
I searched the forum for this error but I got 8056 result and I didn`t feel like reading them all......

Lemme give you the symptons.
R4 gives error when you start your R4.
My computer says : this SD card isn`t formatted.
I can`t reprair it caus it is not formatted.
I`m ussing 0 of the 0 bytes availble.

I encountered this problem before on my R4i-sdhc and It seems like the only solution is reformatting your sd card.

But here comes my question.

Can I reprair my r4 whitouth formatting it? Or is it possible to recieve save`s on a mysterious way?

Cause my mom realy wants to play pokemon

BTW: Don`t dare to say I need to buy a new card.
And I`m Dutch and I have got Dyslection (

To be honest, I'm pretty sure you're card got corrupted and will need to be formatted.

You might be able to recover some data using recovery tools, though I'm not really sure what to use to get data off a damaged MicroSD card.

I'd try to use chkdsk from commandline or maybe you can get Error-Checking to run, right click on the drive -> Properties -> Tools -> Error-Checking.
And if that doesn't work, look to recovering data and formatting the card.
But be warned, that some of the data might be corrupted.

THANK YOU

Thx to Twztidsinz i figured it out.
I Did the following.

I typed /CHKSDK G:/ in command prompt.

But then I got the error can`t repair cause it`s a raw file.
So I downloaded the program ZAR 8,4
And I simply let it check fore bad sectors and stuf.
Then i got 7 Gb found meaning I could even recreate files I deleted in the past yust by data fragments.
I yust checked the files I want to recreate and baaam!!!
it whas there.

Yeah, but now you need to reformat. Just back everything up and then use the Panasonic SD Formatter.
Or else your problem will just come back... and you might not be able to fix it next time.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
