Does anyone else have trouble with the renamer?

I'm not sure what happened, but it used to automatically rename my roms when it put them on the flash card. Now it doesn't. I have auto rename checked, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure if it happened when I updated or if I unchecked something. I'm pretty sure it even says 'drag the roms you want to rename and add to build here' But the renaming just doesn't happen.

The autorenamer doesn't rename the files as it copies them to the card, it renames as it adds them to the library. It's possible that the registry settings have become corrupt, try going into the Auto Renamer settings untick everything, apply the settings and then go back in and set the settings to how you usually have them and see if that works.

Let me know how you get on.

I am having issues loading firmware pack 1.11. If I drag it on the library the _DS_MSHL.nds ROM shots up in the game library. If I add it to a build and transfer to a flash card nothing transfers. I had some issues dropping ROMs after I uninstalled the software from C: and reinstalled on D: but I fixed that by reinitializing the program.

I also tried to drop an application in since they are similarly packaged but no luck there either. They simply do not show up. I assume ezpack items should show up in the home brew Libray?

It sounds like there's junk in the registry settings left from the previous install. The uninstall program doesn't remove the registry settings, it's why I'm moving everything into datafiles when I get a chance.

You'll need to delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\R4Commander\HOMEBREW and the packlist.* files from the Data folder in the folder you have R4 Commander in, that should solve the problem. Have you already added your games to the library? If you haven't you can just use the Reinitialize Program from the utils menu in the main window.

If that doesn't work let me know.

Thx for the good organisation! Im searching a while for this!

Thats a really phenomenal useful prog. Can you please add in the next release more packs or configs for automate homebrew insert! (Comic Book DS 3, DSuite, Diagnose, DSOrganize_3_01, JDS, for a few examples)

Keep up the good work!

TrolleyDave,

I'm without an R4 (waiting on the slow boat from China) but I just read through the 10 pages of this post and can see how much work you have put into this utility/manager and wanted to post a quick message of thanks for all that work... I cannot wait to actually have a use for it.
