Nothing is shown.. The screen just turn black when booted on
Sounds like you have game auto booting on

Go to your ds settings to disable this and see your home screen on next boot and that should let you see what game this appears as

It’s not going to boot(black screen) without the proper files on its SD card

No SD Card on it. Still shows the black screen just the R4 Card slotted

Might be an Ace3DS?

I doubt it. It doesn't look like one and the time frame doesn't really match. Flashcarts tended to use the Altera MAX II FPGA in the older days. It's not really used much these days other than the China flashcart clones (not for DS - cheaper to use ASIC).

Yeah, I was looking into it as well and that was the only one I couldn’t find anything mentioning.
OP could just download a couple of kernels and try to see which one boots.

imo the best thing OP could do is take the flashcart apart (unscrew and gently pry the flashcart apart with a razorblade), post the pcb pictures and dump the flash with ntrboothax flasher.

Oh! Actually that’s a pretty idea! They should just see if flasher actually detects the cart and post those results.
