Hacking R4 action replay

Is there an inbuilt acttion replay in a R4? Can you play movies on it?

There is a built-in cheat function that uses action replay codes. You do not use it to play movies. Instead you can use a homebrew app such as Moonshell to play dpg movies.

Yes, but not everyone uses it. (I deleted mine for more space.) If I'm not mistaken, there are a few other apps that can play videos as well.

I don't believe that moonlight invented dpg. It's mpeg-1 video spliced with WAV GSM 6.01 with a custom header.

It's not GSM anymore. It now uses MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio.

Edit: And the newest version can use Ogg Vorbis too.

Yes there is. DSMplay, which is by moonlight, the creater of moonshell, can play supposed psp quality videos. But the videos take up about 3x more space than a dpg.
