Hey all!

I have a few of those little RCM injectors and they are all working great. Problem is they are kinda old and on some of my computers/bad cables etc - I cannot access the data on them (they detect but freeze when trying to access the folders)

From what I am reading is the latest hekates actually pull the latest payload.bin from the SD card. Do I just pop payload.bin on the root of the card and it will always use that one despite what is on the actual RCM loader itself?

Thanks!

The injector should inject whatever is on the payload injector, if you configure it to boot the payload.bin on the SD card it should boot that.

Where do I configure it to look at the payload.bin on the SD card?

it check with the update.bin

  • You can choose to update your RCM injection device or PC with the new hekate_ctcaer_x.x.x.bin or not.
In any case, bootloader/update.bin, will be checked and if newer it will get loaded.
update.bin is hekate and it is already copied with the bootloader folder drag n drop update process.

|__ update.binIf newer, it is loaded at boot. Normally for modchips. Auto updated and created at first boot.
