How do you set up the files and folders?
1) where do the games go
2) where do the eboot (the emulator)
I was having some trouble last night with corruption.

However, I did get my other games to work, I was quite pleased. ^^.

I'm not sure if it is what you meant....
Emulators go into x\PSP\Game\ Folder
Usually you just copy a whole folder there. Some emulators have subfolder for roms, but you can put them in any folder.

For example when you download Nester, put whole folder into "Game", and run it and browse for roms.
Let me know if you figured it out.

When you install a Custom Firmware (CFW), instead of an official firmware (OFW), the folders should be created for you, if not format your memory stick via the option in the system menu of the PSP.

Root/PSP/GAME/*.*

*.* = any folder name with the eboot you want to run.

ROOT/ISO/*.*

*.* = any file labeled a ISO/CSO game you want to run.

ISO is a rom, while a CSO is the compressed version of that.

Corruption occurs if your eboot file isn't directly inside that specific folder.

e.g. ROOT/ISO/METAL GEAR SOLID/MGS/MSG.ISO
Should be

ROOT/ISO/METAL GEAR SOLID.ISO

Also, sometimes you didnt copy over the data or folder correctly, or your memory needs to be formated.

Thanks, that's incredibly helpful. Do I need to create a separate license folder for a different game from the PSN? or can I stack all the licenses in the same folder?

Sage, look over my post i corrected one stage. I wasn't thinking clearly when I wrote it.

If you look into bubbles, categories v9, on psp-hacks.com you'll see that....

you can divide your games and homebrew up

I have separate folders for

ISO
Action
Fighting
RPG
Racing

Homebrew

Software

Emulators

That way with my 16gb card, I've got an easy way to search through all of them.

no license folder, you just have legimately two main folders, ROOT/ISO and ROOT/PSP/GAME, unless you use that game categories I spoke about.
