Gaming Quick question about Installing PSVita Demos

I have a few PKG Game Demo files from PSVita, you know, those that are DRM-free and easily available around the internet.

My PSVita is in latest OFW, since I use PSN quite often and play online with it.

I also have a PS3 system with CFW. For the record, I never connected my PSVita to my PS3, YET.
Actually, I HAVE played a few games from my PS3 with my PSVita using Remote Play, but that's it.
My PS3 never went online, so there's no account in it.

My question is:

Since I have my PS3 with CFW, is it possible to transfer these PKG to my PS3 system, connect my PSVita to it and install those PKG Demos into it using my PS3 system?

This is because some of the PKG Demos I have are not listed in the PSN store anymore. Also, my PSVita has a PSN JP account, just for th record. So one of my goals in this would be able to play EU/US demos on my JP PSN PSVita account.
