ROM Hack Quick question about EMUnand

While in GW's 9.2 emunand, does it block updates to the system?

All I want to do is play some games online without recieving update nags.

If you want to play online, you're going to have to have an up to date emunand. Gateway supports the latest firmware for emunand so there's no reason not to update

As long as you're in emunand, it won't update sysnand if that's what you're asking

Depends if we are talking about a O3DS or N3DS.
If O3DS, then indeed, there is no reason not to update and that's the best way to avoid update nags.
