Hi there! :)
I'm new to hacking wii U, and I have a quick question.
Sorry if it's a noob one, but I really don't wanna do something wrong.

I've installed SuperMarioMaker using WUP installer method.
When i'm booting the game, I get this message:
'' Installing update to system memory... Do not turn off the power '' (joined a screenshot)
I don't understrand why the game is triggering an update since i'm on the most recent firmware (5.5.1 U)
I can cancel it and the game plays fine, except that i can't go online :(

Can I safely let the game update my system?

I've read about WUP installer and NNUPatcher being able to install updates, but is it relevant to my case?

Thank you so much!!

Others will correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's the game version. Mario Maker has version updates so it's possible you installed a lower version rather than the latest one.

Your system isn't being updated, its just an update for the game itself. You can let this install.
