Hello, im pretty new to the switch hacking scene, and i just got my switch 6.1 with atmosphere cfw. I wanted to know if i were to download a NSP or XCI file, and i wanted to go to the eshop for like a dlc or game update of the game cartridge that i had, would i have to do a nand restore, and have to reinstall my XCI/NSP file that i had downloaded originally?

In order to reduce your risk of a ban, its highly recommended to restore a clean hack-free NAND prior to going online if you hacked your console. And since restoring the NAND will wipe out any trace of CFW/homebrew, you will have to reinstall all of your .XCI/.NSP files either with another NAND backup or individually.

I would say you have a 0.01% chance of being banned by doing so.
