ROM Hack Questions...help please

Ok, I want to do some random texture hacks on PS0. but i have some questions...

1. Where are the weapon files located? (/Data/???)
Found it. /Data/item/weapon.zarc

2. How do i extract the textures from the files?
3. How do i reinsert the edited textures back into the weapon files?
4. Can other people see edited textures on wifi?

I haven't examined the rom but you can use dsbuff to extract the whole rom. Yes you can see the textures. Crystaltile2 has some tools regarding this. You should ask Noitora or FAST6191 as they are more experienced rom hackers than i am.

i use dslazy. and i just don't know which file the textures are in.
Edit: FOund the textures....but how do i extract them out of a .zarc file? is it lz77 compressed? i have zero knowledge on how PS0 works
