Hacking Questions from an (ex) R4 user

Hello!

I know this is maybe a stupid topic, but I did use the search option and couldn't find useful answers about this.

Basically I'd like to know if the games GTA & Chrono Trigger work properly without cheats or patches, and if there is still slowdown in Nanostray and crashes in CastleVania PoR. These are mostly the games that didn't work properly on my R4 SDHC. And if there is any resource about AK2 game/homebrew compatibility, something like scorpei's wiki for R4.

I'm running akAIO 1.4.1 with 30/5 loaders.

I think GTA may have a WiFi problem.

Gta has multiplayer problems with some flashcards, everything else works perfectly with no patches.

Either way GTA Multiplayer is pretty lame :/ so you wont miss out on much at all.

Well GTA's Wifi mode is not very high on my needlist atm. I have an original cartridge of Tetris and that's enough Wi-fi for every party.

As for other games, I like what I hear, because I prefer to run clean roms over using patches or cheats to bypass protections.

Is there maybe a resource I can consult for Acekard 2 game compatibility? Like which game works, and which has problems, etc?

with the akaio firmware you are talking about 99% compatibility. games that don't work are fixed real quick or worked on until they do work. norm has put in extensive amounts of time to get things like wii connectivity working, iron out bugs, etc, etc, etc.

i own 4 acekard products. 3 of them are running versions of akaio.

Dude. Can you try to do multicart on your Acekard 2i with AKAIO 1.4.1 Proper release for GTA Chinatown Wars? Try it out first AKAIO to AKAIO. Then try out AKAIO to R4 or something else.
