Gaming Questions about Ubuntu 11.04

I recently updated/upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04, and I have a few questions,

Can you change the appearance of 11.04 to something similar to 10.10?
Can you get rid of the bar on the left and get a "Taskbar" without changing it to "Ubuntu Classic"?

Log out of the desktop and on the Log in screen select Desktop Edition (or something similar)

it's the easiest way, and it saves whatever you had it on last, it's not like it's a hassle

and i'm pretty sure it's called ubuntu classic



also, if you don't want to use unity because it's slow i'd recommending checking out unity 2d (and settings for it)
