Hacking questions about solar battery charger

I have question about that solar battery charger, they say in the description that it can work eaven with light from your room,
can someone affirmate that ? Does anybody have that kind of gadget

have read it can but for low power applications acoording to that site so i would say it will charge maybe a little slower depending on the type and strength of the lgiht.

If you are in your room, why not go the efficient route and plug it in?

I was just wondering , I would never buy that, but it's just interresting gadget that's all.

I did own such gadget once and yes from what I can remember it does work in your room. In the end I returned mine because the cable or something got damaged somehow.
