ROM Hack questions about pokeomn platinum

1. i have a save file from when i played the J version and was wondering if i can fully use it with the american no problem? as in everything works you can save anywhere like normal etc.
but my true question is since i have the J version save can i do all the work with it on the J version of the poksav or do i have to use the U for it?

Unless you use a save file converter or have a flashcart that can play any save with any game
9 times out of 10 the save file will not work on multiple games, especially if you are changing languages
