EZ3in1+ is a newer version. When it first came out, due to new hardware/firmware, many cards were incompatible with it. Recently Team Cyclops of the cycloDS has released a new firmware that increases compatibility somewhat for EZ3in1+. Your best bet is to actually go with the EZ3in1, if you can find it, since most sites are now selling the +.
