Questions about CFW on the Wii U - Please help

Hi all, its 2024 and I am thinking of buying a Wii U, huzzah! Just wondering:

1. Are all versions of the Wii U hackable/moddable? And...
2. What is the best method for installing CFW in 2024?

Any advice would be fantastic since there are a LOT of guides out there and they say different stuff. @_@

As far as I'm aware of, they are.

2. What is the best method for installing CFW in 2024?

This is the recommended guide: https://wiiu.hacks.guide/ which will install Aroma CFW on your Wii U. You can grab Tiramisu as well (if you'd like to use Retroarch as well).
Additionally, for the games to work, you'll need the latest sigpatches. Download the 01_sigpatches.rpx file and paste it into /wiiu/environments/tiramisu/modules/setup and/or /wiiu/environments/aroma/modules/setup on your SD Card.

I recall seeing someone saying there are developing units of Wii U somewhere on the forum, these are different and can be hard to mod.

Just stay with commecial sold units.
