Hacking Questions about Acekard.

I have an original r4 for more than 2 years, however the non-release of a SMT Strange Journey patch for r4 convinced me to buy an acekard.
A few questions:

I found a online store, in spain, which sells Acekard 2.0 for only 8€ ( without microsd). Is this the normal price of an Acekard 2.0 or it could be a clone?

Is Acerkard 2.0 compatible with all AKAIO firmwares? Can i really play games like Pokemon Gold/Silver or SMT SJ on it without any problems?

Is my kingston micro sdc 2gb compatible with Acekard?

What are the differences between Acekard 2.0 and Acekardi?


Noob question: Why can´t i simply download Acekard/AKAIO kernel to my r4?

1. Probably ok, hard to tell. What site?

2. Go for the 2i, seriously.

3. Perfectly. Kingston are great too.

4. The 2i has reportedly better build quality. Plus it's future proof for now, your DS suddenly fails and it will work in a DSi/DSiXL

Don't get an Acekard 2.0. The Acekard 2.1 is better, but it'd be wise to buy a 2i instead. Better build quality, more support.
