I'm considering sending my o3DS away to be repaired (unrelated to homebrew or anything like that) I'll switch SDs beforehand to my original one, but I still fear that they might update my sysNAND, intentionally or not.

If this happens, is it possibru to downgrade to 9.2 again? I have a NAND.bin back up but I want to be sure.

If they do update you, you'd have to use a hardmod to restore your NAND.
The last time I sent my 3DS to get repaired (it stopped charging) they didn't update it. Hope the same happens to you~

if your 3ds has hardmoded you can restore to 9.2.

Thanks for the replies. My 3DS isn't hardmodded but I suppose I can do that if this happens. Do you guys think I should ask them not to update my NAND?

Probably not a good idea. What if they ask you why? Even if you tell them not to update it, I'm pretty sure they'd do it anyway. :P

I could tell em it's for emulators. I feel if I tell em they'll update it, but if I don't they'll update it. :(
