This picture only show the 3ds is working after he put the ram on another board to let him dump it.

There aren't any change on the shell for now or any software change.

Dumping the ram is just a step to find a usable hole in the software.

And neimod confirmed. This is nothing to get all the noobs excited about.

The hacking section of this forum really needs mod-approved thread posting.
It's not like it'd create any more work for them. They either have to not allow the thread be posted, and save everyone the trouble of seeing it, or come in and lock it at a later date. I'd say both would take just about the same effort.

There has been much discussion and debate about this in the 3DS Hacking theories thread.

Neimod:
"there indeed has been an incredible amount of progress because of this, that's all I can say. (Otherwise it would ruin the surprise)"
That quote came about a month after the photo of his RAM dumper.

Neimod is an experienced and trustworthy hacker with many accomplishments. If he is optimistic and excited, then so am I.

However, I would advise over going too crazy with giddyness though, useable hacks take a lot of time and testing so we should try to be calm and patient. Experts like him need peace and quiet to concentrate on their groundbreaking work. Let's give it to them.
