Hacking [Question] Updating a N3DS to 11.10

Hey guys,

I have a N3DS XL running 9.5.0-23U and Luma3DS v9.1. My question now is how do I proceed from here? How do I update to the newest firmware version? Do I just do it from the settings?

PS. I'm positive it's running boot9strap v1.3

Yes, simply install the latest system firmware by running a system update from the system settings. Updates with boot9strap + Luma3DS (what you have) are safe.

If you are running Luma3DS v9.1, then it is safe to update your 3DS to the latest version (11.10, as of this post). It is also recommended that you update Luma3DS to v10.0 by putting the 10.0 boot.firm onto the root of your SD card, although it's not required.
