Gaming Question: migrating to a new SD card

I will be upgrading to a larger SD card from 64 to 128 for my O3DSXL
Is there a tutorial for migrating to a new SD card and keeping all my saved data and games?

Assuming you aren't using emuNAND, you can just copy and paste everything from the old SD card to the new SD card with no problem.

All you have to do is open up File Explorer and copy all the files and folders over. Just do Control+A to select all, and drag it to the new SD Card. If you only have one SD Card slot, copy it to a folder on your PC first, then to the new card.

If you use an emuNAND, then you need to use something like GodMode9 to transfer it from the old SD card to the new one. However, why are you using an emuNAND?

If you have an emuNAND for whatever reason, get a program like Win32DiskImager, make an image file of your SD Card, then write that image file to the new SD Card.

If you followed the guide properly, you should have moved your emuNAND to your sysNAND. When you open the System Settings, does the version string begin with Emu or Sys?

It sounds to me then like you're not using emuNAND. If that's the case, you merely need to copy and paste the files and folders on your old SD card to the new one.

Oh sweet that's awesome thanks. I guess I was thinking I had to do something technical thinking that I was dealing with cfw
